At around 1 year old for each of our boys, we have done the first haircut. I have wanted them to stay looking young at least until then. The first haircut can change their look SO much. Micah and Judah had/have weird hair and lots of cowlicks. Isaiah has
lots of cowlicks too, but has really pretty blonde hair. Yep, may sound
like I am talking about girls hair, but it's true. It is a great shade
of blonde, and soft, and sits great on his head...and I didn't want to
cut it...
Beautiful. Messy or not.
But it was time. It was getting too long. He is already kind of a pretty boy, and I didn't want to be asked the question of whether he was a girl based on the length of hair...
The other 2 boys just got trimmed evenly with a trimmer, but Isaiah we at least had to keep some of the length on top. Matt had his first time using scissors, and it turned out great!
